it has been so very hot lately and we have not gotten much in the form of relief. storm clouds build almost daily but very little rain or cooler temperatures ever come. on thursday the clouds were so dark and heavy. we were lucky enough to get a really neat view and see some lightning but that was the extent of our weather change.

Fireworks on the Fourth!!

although i am missing andy i went to the river to snap a few shots of the 4th of july celebrations--i'm glad the rain moved through before the show!! there was no wind so the smoke just lingered...oh, well--i think that i got a few good pictures. i love playing around with my camera and trying new things to get the look that i'm after--i'm still learning and love learning as i practice! (i think i'll be learning forever!)

...it's been a while....

so it's been a very long time since i've blogged but here is a post "just because". andy and i are still extremely "busy"--it's not fun to say we're busy when it's mostly always work that we are busy with. we're doing good though and even got emery her own pet--a new kitten!!! hmmm, hopefully we can plan a summer "road trip" vacation sometime in august...we'll see!!

well, here we are: who could have guessed that 2010 would have come so soon. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! Andy and I were in "the north" for Christmas and had a great time!!! We've been up to a whole lot of other stuff too, but I just wanted to put up some pictures.
